“Backyard Balkan Brass brings the drama and joy of the Slavic and Roma brass band traditions to New Orleans. Originators of the Balkan Fais Do Do, you will often see the band encircled by local dancers versed in the folk dances made for this music. You will also spot us parading in the streets, carousing in clubs and spinning our intricate melodies in backyards around the city. We love adding another spice to the pot of New Orleans Brass and we’re always happy to share!”
